Do any more Shiner drinkers think they changed the recipe? The blonde is seasonal for the brewery. Last year was bad this ones worse. In the begining it tasted like a good cream ale . I mean really nice. Now, Its a malty version of a MGD. Damn it !

Strictly a mass consumption beer-something to slam down if you want to get hammered quickly. Or if it’s free. Other than that, I wouldn’t recommend it. Slightly better than Bud.

Cold, wet, boring, straw,a hint of grass. Maybe a 1/2 step up from macro swill. Even tho it goes down fairly easy it’s not a session beer by any stretch.

What a boring beer! Nothing like the blond beer I was expecting. I wish I would have read the reviews before spending 6.99 on this 6 pack. Budlightish head, budlightish color, very metallic taste. Slightly bitter. Reminds me of a bad Dos Equis. These could give me a headache.

Hmm... I definitly wouldnt have pinned this as a pilsner if someone asked me. Not sure what to say of it really now... I like it. It’s definitly not the best beer out there, but for the price its enjoyable.

Not bad if it’s hot and you’re thirsty. Golden straw color with thin head. Nothing memorable on the nose or taste...maybe a little sweet malt taste, but not much.

Pours a golden-yellow with small white head. Grassy hops. Acidi, metallic.. Light bodied, very watery.

The original Shiner beer, before the seasonal bock became the brewery’s mainstay. Pours very pale yellow. Aroma is light, somewhat sweet. Flavor is smooth and weak. Quick finish. Forgettable.
