1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 dmac (2509) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - APR 28, 2011
12 oz bottle from a mix6 that I bought just for the 6 ticks. Poured clear, thin golden body underneath a bright white average sized foamy head. Aroma had a touch of honey sweetness over some dusty grains and corn. The flavor is almost nonexistant and reminds me more of seltzer then beer. The body is thin and overly fizzy. A horrible boring beer all around.

Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Grainy malty aroma, a bit straw-like, with light hoppy hints. The flavor is grainy malty with just a hint of bitterness. Not bad.
1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20 Travlr (4527) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - APR 16, 2011
OK, Brian made me buy this one (for him). Extremely pale yellow, scant head. Aroma of wet dirty rags. Taste of bitter cardboard. it is what it is.
3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20 TheBeerBaron (261) - Florida, USA - APR 16, 2011
A pale yellow color with a fast fading white head, its not much to look at in the glass. A salty and soapy malt aroma and its hard to discern much else. No particular spices or hops comes through in the aroma. The taste is extremely watery and light. nothing malt, wheat nor hops makes a statement. The palate is very quenching like a sports drink or iced tea. While nothing grabs at your taste buds it works well together.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 brigg (361) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - APR 14, 2011
(bottle) Crystal clear, pale yellow body with constant rising bubbles and a thin white head. Light malt aroma, faint citrus notes. Thin, carbonaceous body. Light malt flavor, white toast, mostly watery flavor.
2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 jmagnus87 (520) - Carbondale, Illinois, USA - APR 8, 2011
From a 12oz bottle from Pick’s Liquors poured into a shaker. Very light colored. Almost no head that dissipates quickly. Almost no aroma to speak of. Very faint smell of hops. Taste is very very light. Nothing distinct at all. Light bodied, thin texture, average carbonation. There is a faint taste of dirty socks. My least favorite of the Shiner brand. The only redemption is the 5.99 per six-pack price.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 ChainGangGuy (3682) - Canton, Georgia, USA - APR 5, 2011
Appearance: Pours a clear, pale yellow body with a fizzling inch of pure white bubbles, though it departs at a rapid pace.
Smell: This Blonde has a cereal sweet aroma, flecks of cracked grains, and water-soaked malts.
Taste: Light taste of pale and pilsner malts, modestly grainy, and a vaguely sweet notion of honey water. A few corn husks. Very faintly herbed, spiced hops with an altogether low degree of bitterness. Sweet cereal grains on the crisp-ish finish.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation.
Overall: Yeah, yeah, refreshing and all, but it’s subdued and subtle to a fault, never really satisfying.

Poured from bottle, this blonde is light in every regard. The wife and her girlfriends like it though...that should explain a lot in and of itself.
