12oz bottle. Probably my least favorite of all of Shiner’s brews - just bland. Tastes and smells like grain with a bit of herbal hop flavor. Utterly forgettable.

Spot on lager color & head. Spot on for lager aroma. It would be nice if the malt flavor was somewhat more pronounced, but the malt & hop flavors are nicely done. Spot on mouthfeel. This is a nice lager but it doesn’t really jump out at you as being different from the big boys.

Bottle. A - Extremely light and clear golden yellow. One of the lightest/clearest beers I’ve seen. Average sized, light, foamy, soapy, pearl white head. Disappears pretty fast leaving S - Lots of cooked vegetable with corn all over the nose. Some very lightly toasted grain as well. Very sweet with only a faint hint of sulfur or hops. T - Like the nose, there is a lot of cooked vegetable with some grain as well. Again only very faint floral and grassy hops. Sweet malt and corn dominate the taste. M - Lighter body with average carbonation. Fairly smooth with a slightly drying finish. D - Goes down easy as you would expect, but nothing that I’m going to regularly reach for. Notes: What you would expect from an average pale lager. Nothing exciting and dominated by cooked vegetable and corn flavor.

bottle. Pours very pale yellow gold with minimal white head. Aroma of light corn, water. Very watery smooth taste, but with a crisp bite. Soft hoppy citrus, hay. I wouldn’t go so far as to compare this to a light macro or pale lager as there are no outright bad flavors or phenol or adjucts etc... Still, it is very watery, bland, and uninteresting.

Bottle: Poured a golden color with thin white head. Aroma sour corn with cardboard. Taste is light with corn and grain.

Amazingly similiar in almost every single way to Miller Lite. For the price, if you absolutely must, stick with Miller Lite.

BottLed. Gold with grassy sweet notes. A pretty weak offering this. .......

Bottle. Bright yellow pour, slight white head. A little bit of sweet corn and grass, finish is very breif. Not really anything here.
