Great light golden beer, would recommend for long night! Smooth taste and not too filling.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Poured from a "Shiner Premium Beer" bottle which supposedly is the same as the Blonde but marketed slightly differently. Strong carbonation is noticed immediately, medium cap of white head, very clear and extra light straw in color. Strong aroma of lager-like esters, definite sulfur, with notes of dried hay. It’s a clean and nearly flavorless lager hinting at flaked corn. No distinct malt flavors or esters, no noticeable hop varieties. Even with gobs of carbonation this beer finishes with a watery palate and leaves a slightly medicinal aftertaste.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
This is your regular pale lager. Did have a crisp clean taste, no distinguishable hops, pretty much similar to many big brands.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Nov. 27, 2013; 12 oz. bottle. Not much to write home about here. A pale lager with a vaguely grassy/lemony aroma, but no taste or palate to speak of. Nothing offensive, just a cipher of a brew.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
From bottle. Light gold color with some white head. Not much nose--some hay and grain. Big time carbonation, some grainy flavor. Clean finish. Unimaginative and unnecessary.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. It’s a clear pale beer with a small, white head. The aroma is pretty weak, with hay, grass notes and pale malts. Quite uninteresting, and that fits the flavor too. But at least the flavor has some citrus and a vague bitterness. Medium body, quite dry and perhaps a bit too heavily carbonated. Short finish with grass, hay and pale malts. Well, it drinks easy, but fails big time to interest me. 131114

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle gift. For me, this was just thin, with no real presence of anything. Some mild grainy aroma was about it.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Not bad if your looking for a nice light lager. Way better than a PBR or Budwieser. Tasted like a cross between a lager and a cider. Had a hint of sweetness that I couldn’t quite put my finger on.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from the family reunion pack. Pours a crisp blonde color with tenth of an inch head that remains. Taste is like a blonde with some interesting flavor. Nothing great though

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Surprisingly clean tasting blonde lager. Shiner makes a good, solid set of beers and this one is no exception
