Bottle... NTB Ernesto Festo ’06... Clear yellow ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Grainy, citrusy aroma with a light lemon note. The flavor is lightly bittered, but boasts sweet peach and mild lemon. Medium-bodied and fizzy. Lengthy, faintly bitter finish.
1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 bhensonb (7131) - Woodland, California, USA - AUG 16, 2008
Bottle from the Coop in Davis, CA. Label is a bit toned down these days. PIcture is of a couple of guys. Brassy gold color with a decent white head. Aroma is grain, and the hop I hoped for, I didn’t get. Near medium body with fizzy/creamy carbonation. Flavor is a mix of pale malt and grain with a wet paper taste substituting for hop. There is hop, because there is a light burn in the finish. Unless that’s the 4.4%! Blah, ’sa rite, but why? MY ANTLERS ARE BAKED.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 hopdog (6943) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 21, 2005
Poured a lighter and clear golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of grain, light grass and some light sweet malts. Tastes of ctirus with a light honey sweetness to it. Like the body, both the aromas and tastes were the watery and thin side.
