After drinking this, I really don’t feel like writing a nice long rating, because it was hardly worth the effort of drinking it. It fit the bill of being refreshing, but felt like I was drinking some shoddy macro attempt at a blonde.

Bottle from Capital Market. Golden in color. Grainy nose with a bit of soapiness. A little sour as well. Grainy flavors with a little bit of wet cardboard. A hint of hops in the finish.

Mom picked up a variety case while visiting my Uncle in Texas. This was labeled as Shiner Premium Beer. A very typical American lager. Light golden color with a white head. A somewhat soapy aroma. Easy drinking without a much flavor. A summer lawn mowing beer.

12 oz. Bottle poured into pint glass from sampler 12 pack. Premium Lager. Light and easy.

pours clear very light golden with a small white cap, some retention and lacing. lots of apple fruitiness - unsweetened apple sauce, pale cereals - some husks and cheap white bread, corn, ginger candies, musty white grapes - their juice; almost rotten fruitiness - over-ripened pear juice; grassy and spicy, cardboard traces. light carbonation, light body, balanced and almost crisp herbal-grassy finish. past its prime perhaps, but far from horrid.

Typical lager aroma grains and yeast. Pours a pale gold color with a lasting white well laced head. Moderate carbonation, with a light body, taste of grains. Short lasting grassy finish.

This was tasted not as the "Blonde" but as the "Premium" : Poured from a very cold 12 oz. dark brown bottle into a thick lager glass (w/ a glass handle on it); a full flowery hit; very light coloring, almost like a "lite" type hue, but not; i like the taste, another M.O.R. brew that’s rather kicked back w/ an ez yeasty after-taste lingering; light body with a steady flow of effervescence; and overall, very likable, drinkable, enjoyable.

Shiner’s premium beer is a decent thirst quencher. Light clear, golden appearance. Neutral flavor of malt, some corn and/or rice, mildly hopped. It is not a light beer by definition but it is a sessionable brew if one is so inclined. As a summer style beer it does the job. I would definitely pick this up over any BMC product if I had the choice.

Can’t say much... It is very, very reminiscent of Budweiser. From the smell, appearance, all the way down to the taste. Not bad, not great, but it’ll do nicely.

Medium gold with a small white head that dissipates quickly. Well-balanced and refreshing. Nothing offensive, rather good actually.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale straw yellow body with just a minimal fizzy white head. The nose is pretty light, just a bit of husky grain and sweetness. The flavor is light and rather bland with a short finish. Light bodied and fizzy with a watery texture. Pretty boring stuff. Hard to believe that this is all malt.
