Aroma was okay, malty but low hop aroma. Head disappeared quickly with no lacing, but plenty of carbonation when drinking. color was dark and then red when tilting glass. Real good taste with balanced blend with hops and malt. I think being a draft made the difference. Good American dark lager. yinzerbeernut (55), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Nov 14, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours a very nice dark amber color with an off white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is almost all straw, so no points for that. The taste is a tad grassy with some hops and some malt. Very balanced. The palate isn’t overcarbonated or syrupy.
A good session beer without question. BrewingFan (63), Texas, USA

Malt and caramel light on the nose. Very smooth beer that goes down easy. This is my fallback beer when I want to drink on the cheap. SHANER4 (372), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 3, 2009 Bottle 12oz. - Poured clear dark amber color with no foam.
Aroma - sweet fruity toasted malt, actually decent for a lager!
Flavor - Toasted cereal taste, somewhat sweet and faint metallic taste.
Palate - Very thin mouthfeel and has good carbonation. Finish is short and has dry aftertaste.
Overall - Not a horrible beer, it’s just boring! Typical American lager and I will leave it at that. Bronzan (25), Cotati, California, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Nov 3, 2009 Not much to speak of in terms of aroma, palate, etc. However, for what it is, this is fairly enjoyable. The colder the better on this one.
