Draught at some pizza-place in SF Hazy red-brown with a small, tan head. Vinous and sweet aroma. Slightly sourish as well. A bit too thin body. Pretty fresh with vinous maltiness.

Clear amber pour with a moderate white head, very roasted overtones, doesn’t hide the alcohol well, Shiner needs to recreate this one.

I drank several of these on a visit to Austin, TX and was really surprised how much I liked it. While I wouldn’t consider it a premium beer it’s definitely not bad. Good color and taste. Quite drinkable.

Pours a deep red/brown color with an off-white head. Heavy carbonation. Aroma is of caramel, grain, malt, and nuts. Taste is of grain, malt, corn, and caramel malt. Has an overall earthiness to it. Body is light and the mouthfeel is extremely watery. Has just enough to the taste to make it uoffensive and drinkable. Not the best, but about average.

This is one of my all-time favorites, a standard at any pub in Texas. A nice dark american lager with plenty of taste and DRINKABILITY! Hooray for current affairs quotes.

I liked this beer. Rich brown color with a medium head. Drinkability is very refreshing and do enjoy this beer when I’m sitting at home watching tv.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with lb4lb (thanks!). Poured a medium and clear amber color with a larger sized off white head. Aromas of some earthiness, roasted caramel, and nuts. Tastes of the same but thinner and somewhat watery. Body was thin and watery as well.

It isn’t bad. Actually, it is pretty good for a session. Light, refreshing and a good amount of malt. Nothing really wrong with it.
