I know what this really is: MGD with a little Coke a Cola added for color and sweetness. Typical for Texas though. Really watery.

Jedsbrew (465) - Rhineland, Missouri, USA - MAR 28, 2003
UPDATED: SEP 30, 2004 Kind of skinny for a bock, not much aroma, slightly toasty malt flavor and dry in the finish. Still, a pretty good drink, although it was better when it was a "cheap" beer.

A surprisingly tasty beer from a larger american producer. Good refreshing drink for the summer.

microdyke (360) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 23, 2003
Clear amber with virtually no head. An aroma of lime candy and a touch sweet and malty. A malty and sweet flavor.

Brown with a hint of red. Smells like candy. Not much flavor. Flat regardless of many bubbles.

UPDATED: NOV 22, 2003 Reddish brown appearance. Slightly malty aroma. Flavor is slightly sweet and crisp. Fairly one dimensional. Palate is rather thin. Overall decent and much better than BMC swill. Good way to get swill drinkers to try a "dark" beer.

Better on tap than from the bottle. A good standby when in Texas and all there is on tap is Coors Light and Bud. Lacking hops but very drinkable beer.

UNCCTF (487) - Cary, North Carolina, USA - MAR 9, 2003
Clear dark brown coloring with a decent tan head. Aroma and flavor both dominated by malts, with little to no hop presence. I liked this one a lot better than I expected to, and I would drink it again. It's good, yet not overpowering.
