Drinkable beer that is nothing special. Still have a lot of history with it and think it is a great beer for what it is.

Pours a clear brown with a thin, but persistent head. Toasted malt with grassy hops with small leathery hint. Mildly sweet with almost no hoppy bitterness. Moderately carbonated with thin texture that is slightly sticky on the palate. Short finish. Very drinkable, but nothing fancy.

From notes: Poured hazy reddish-amber with a small, off-white head. Aroma malty sweet, with a biscuity yeast note. Body was a touch thin and light. Taste had a light malt sweetness to it, with a yeasty note in the finish.

I love the yellow label on the brown bottle... very old fashion and cool. Beer is adequate. A good beer to serve ice cold on a smoking hot Texas day. It is dark in color. It is almost a tasteless beer, a little bit sweet. I don’t think it is a bad beer at all. But I don’t think it is a great beer either. No after taste to speak of. A pretty good beer to just set around and drink. It beats Bud, Miller and Coors all to hell. You look pretty cool drinking it too and it doesn’t taste like skunk piss either (see Corona).

I seem to like dark lager more and more lately. This one is pretty good. It is what I am looking for in this style. Light and refreshing with more color and flavor than a typical style lager. Super light hop profile so it is not bitter, but also not sweet.

Bottled thanks to my uncle, pours a nice light reddish, decent head, good aroma, and a sweet finish, overall it was fairly tasty

Dark beer with a surprisingly light taste. Boch usually has no head and lacks any defining qualities that make it much more than an interesting alternative to a Budweiser or coors
