OK but leaves a hanging aftertaste that I wasn't a fan of. I don't plan to have another. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle poured into a paper cup at my work’s chili cook-off. Clear dark brownish amber with beige head. Aromas and tastes of malt and caramel. Light body with a dry finish.

Great anytime beer. Goes with any meal and is a great beer to introduce non beer drinkers into something better than lite beers.

From bottle, straight. Aroma kind of lagerish. Good level of malt, not much hops.

Comfortable spicy flavor for a stand-alone beer in the evening or excellent companion to food during a meal. Smoky caramel flavor offers a good gateway beer for someone who’s never tried craft beer before.

Pours clear mahogany with about a finger of off-white head. Aroma of caramel, rye bread, burnt butter. Taste is sweet, nutty, again with burnt butter, and slightly roasty. Light, smooth body with soft carbonation.

Bottle in LA. A bit of malt character but pretty unexciting. Nothing like a good bock should be.

Clear amber pour with little white head dissipates quickly. Toasted malt, carmel and slight vanilla aroma. Roasted malt flavor dominates. Crisp mouthfeel. Short drying aftertaste with some of the bitterness from malts.
