COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Is a distinctive, rich, full-flavored, deep amber-colored beer with an inviting smooth taste without excessive bitterness.

Pours a medium brown with a thin beige head. The aroma is grainy, nutty, and lightly sweet. The flavor is surprisingly (overly) sweet, though, with quite a bit of light caramel malt flavors, but also a bit of dry graininess and even a kind of metallic undertone. The texture is a bit thin, but that is in line with the flavors.

Poured a clear amber color with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma is a little skunky, but it is similar to some traditional bocks. Taste is watery, but there is enough malt flavor to make this drinkable. Some caramel present with a sweet finish. Not bad.

Bottle at Empty Bottle. This is one of those beers I’ve had a million times before and now I finally rate it. Clean and fresh for the style, not pungent o stale at all. Sweet and doughy, with some mellow chocolate notes. Medium bodied with a nice crisp hop balance. Well done, but fairly middle of the road and unexciting too.

Good solid stuff--a bit light (in taste/body/abv) but ends nice and semi-sweetly, with low hops and low carbonation

This beer looks like it would be refreshing when its poured into the glass, but drinking it falls short of even the most modest expectations. It tastes like a bland hefeweissen without any fruity esters or hops. Surprisingly thin, and not particularly refreshing.

Pours orange-brown with thin white head. Very insipid aroma. Thin watery taste, with light carbonation. Not a bock beer by any standards, more of a bad American mass-market amber lager. Borderline drain pour. Maybe OK as a first step away from the Bud-Miller-Coors taste.

bottle. clear amber with nice white but short living head. banana, brown sugar, meaty, no depth. high in carbonation but lack of taste makes it more like tonic water.
