12oz bottle. Poured an opaque light brown. Minimal head. Not much in the nose, medicianal. Taste has some malt, but not much else. This one came to me with some hype, but I don’t get it. A drinkable beer to be sure, but not much to write home about.

Pours a nice reddish brown but the otherwise creamy beige head dies almost immediately. Nose is watery of malt, dates, and bakery. For a bock this has a much too watery consistency, almost like a light beer. No malt or hops detected. Some nuts, dates, and raisins. If they made bock beer light, this would fit the bill. Not bad but bock should not be this light and watery.

The taste is agreeable, but it just seems to be an attempted clone of amberbock. a decent brew though, my local convenience store has it, and it looked strange, being fresh off my work shift it seemed to be a hopeful gamble, and did pay off when in conjunction with a pizza. still a macro-brew though, and shows it through the lack of diversity in flavor.
