Shiner Bock

from a bottle, poured an amber color. Tastes a lot like Yuengling Lager. Nice smooth taste will minimal aftertaste. The only problem that I had is that after downing four with my dinner I felt like I was going to burst at the seams.

12 ounce bottle- poured out a caramel-amber with very little in the way of a head. Aroma was bitter, even harsh, fortunately the bitterness didn’t carry through to the taste. It was crisp, clean and malty without any bitter flavors. This is one of those beers more easily defined as what it is NOT than by what it is. Not much taste and no more mouth feel than water. Only average.

12oz bottle from mmm///beer. Poured a dark brown with a small head. Smooth beer with slightly bitter finish. Not wonderful, but very drinkable.

12 fl oz bottle. smooth lager. dark brown pour. minimal bubbley head. smooth lighter carbonation.sweet caramel aroma and taste, rusty metalic taste.

Bottle from Safeway in Davis, CA. Poured a brown color with little to no head. Didn’t have much smell, maybe a little bit of carmel. Sweet malty taste with little to no hops. Not bad, but not something I would normally buy.

Light brown body. Slight caramel aroma. Flavor is somewhat floral.

12oz, bottle, free, taste is okay, not really standoutish and i didnt expect it to be... goes down smooth with some malt taste, some carmel subdued not bad at all.

I absolutely love this beer. I am concerned that many have rated it low. Am I missing something or do I just have the opposite taste as everyone else?
