Pours a copper amber color with a two finger head. Mild malty aroma with subtle hints of caramel and freshly baked bread. Medium bodied with a sweet malty flavor and a gentle hop finish. Very drinkable and an ideal session beer.

Burnt malts, wet dog, and cardboard aroma. Faint caramel, vegetable blend, spritz water flavors. Fizzy, watery mouthfeel. Cheap, poorly done.

Bottled@The 1st Vaasa CS/ES beer session (thanks ER). Dark ambery brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is bready malts, caramel malts and mild strange sweetness. Flavour is caramel and bready malts along with some papery notes as well as herbs and mild bitterness. Not that offensive, just boring.

Bottle tasting at work... its too bad they accidentally added twice the usual amount of water to this bock batch. Wait... whats that you say? Thats how watery this bock is SUPPOSED to be? Did you tell them that Bock means a STRONG lager beer... usually high gravity with a respectable palate? They laughed and made pointless references to the size of their state? Hmm... perhaps some things brewed in Texas should STAY in Texas.

Pours a copper color, clear and sparkling. Initially there is a foamy off-white head, but it dissipated and gathered to the edges quickly. The aroma is nutty, doughy, a little metallic and the smell of a basement. The palate is clean and refreshing, not overly carbonated with a sweet finish. The beer is drinkable as far as it goes. There is very little hop presence, which seems to be a missing component. I was expecting more.

Pours a clear, dark amber with a small white head. The aroma is of corn and toasted corn. The flavor is so so for a bock. Kind of a toasty pils, slightly grassy, sweet. Medium bodied with prickly carbonation and a sweet finish.
