| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jan 4, 2008 I asked the waitress to bring me the darkest beer on tap and this is what I got. Not what I was hoping for so I may be biased. The color was dark red, not a lot of hops or bitterness, taste starts off watery but ends with something familiar, maybe milk or something. Not the best, I would look for other options CaptBier (301), Birmingham, Alabama, USA

Flavo was sweet at first, then very bready & biscuity, becoming much dryer than I had expected. Poor flavor notes at end (paper, soap). Macrobrewish... Rotorhead87 (117), Temple, Texas, USA

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Dec 23, 2007 Bottled. Aroma of grassy hops, some hints of caramel malt. Clear, amber-brown coloured with a fast dying, beige head. After 30 seconds no head is left. taste has grassy/grainy hops. Not much else there. Very watery. Certainly not a bock. Actually quite bad. xnoxhatex (1305), Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 22, 2007 Taste from WLV, Chicago. Dark amber with off-white head. Aroma is slight roast, all very light and semi-sweet. Flavor is only slight caramel and roasted malt, but overall very light. Light body and well carbonated. All and all nothing too exciting, but I could see how this could be a good introductory beer.
