Pours dark, small head, almost no aroma. Mild flavor (ironic given its supposed style), but drinkable. NeoHippie2 (173), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 7, 2007 Pours an amber color. no lacing on glass with very little head. The taste doesnt remind me of a bock at all. To me, it really isnt a bock, it is a step up from the typical american style pale lager. Not awful but certainly nothing special either. Everyone jerks them off in Texas because they are from Texas not because it’s good beer. gabbama (115), Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 28, 2007 Definately not a German Bock. Not much in the way of aroma. Malt flavor barely any hops. Drinkable, but nothing spectacular. skunkt4 (12), Franklin, Texas, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 18, 2007 Poured the color of ice tea with no lacing on glass. Forgoes any attempt at hops with focus on malt - sweet, a little on the fizzy side. I think this is in the same class as those ’craft’ brews from Michelob - just a notch above. Very drinkable - won’t ever be mistaken for a German Bock - but, then again, not priced like one either. Something for someone looking for just a bit more than the standard American lager. sheatripper (863), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 12, 2007 Bottle at Lobo. Poured a dark amber with a thin head. Sweet cereal aroma, with some honey, grass and a slight sourness. Flavor of off-sweet honeyed cereal malts with a slightly citric, metallic and/or carbonic thing going on. Maybe some grassy hops underneath. Fizzy body which waters out quickly. Generally boring malty lager.
