Nice dark color. Smooth taste. Stout aroma with malt. Good beer to drink watching tv.

I don’t understand the hoopla over this beer. It is thin, malty, and bland. Sure it’s easy to drink, but in the end it’s forgettable and boring.

For a mass produced beer available anywhere its a decent choice if you are wanting to get quantity. I can pick of a case of 24 from my buddies liquor store with the friend of the owner discount for about $15. It will never be in the same league and the big boys but if you handed me a bottle I’d say "Thanks!’ and enjoy it. Good choice for large parties.

Shiner Bock is bland, to some extent, lacking the bite of other less expensive beers, but it is high quality, and has a pleasing taste. One can tell that the brewery puts a lot of care into the product. A good one to have on tap at a nice bar. Goes well with crackers. RJT

Slightly sweet aroma of malt, little hops; pours a deep shade of amber with white head that dissapates quickly. Flavor is mostly bitter with some sour undertones. Meduim body, slick and creamy texture, this brew has a long, sustaned finish. Overall, a decent brew that has seen a tremendous increase in popularity over the past few years (due to a change in management from a buyout). My family from Houston said that even ten years ago you couldn’t get this stuff outside of Texas. Now it’s at the liqour store down the street.

"Well heee-haw……it’s time for a Red neck Texan bock!!!! Brown body and a small tan cap that reduced to a thin bubble ring very quickly. Aroma is so very faint having a hard time picking up anything, chocolate maybe, so compost possibly, way to mild to get any kind of useable aroma. No bad smell really it just has no smell. On my first sip the only thing that came to mind was “crap I still got an entire glass to drink”. Some mild skunk, dark roasted malts that turn slightly sour. This is swill, well high quality swill but it still be swill. I got nothing good to say about this except at least a can cross Texas of my list of states sampled now."

Nice dark color almost coca-cola color. thick head. not too much taste, very watery. light hops.

Bottle. Nothing too interesting, here. Slight malt taste and flavor. Non-threatening. Not too bad. Probably wonderful for those who exclusively drink macro.
