djd07 (721), Houston, Texas, USA Aug 28, 2007 On tap at the Texans game. Pours a dark copper color with a medium off white head. The aroma is very malty with some caramel. Good lacing on this one. The taste is a light roasted malt with a smooth finish. A great texas brew. jexes23 (5), Texas, USA does not count Aug 26, 2007 My everyday beer. Great beer for drinking at the house, provides more flavour than your average beer. HueyBryan (40), Rotan, Texas, USA Aug 24, 2007 One of my favorites that became my number 1 the very first bottle. On draft on 6th Street in Austin was very refreshing on a hot humid evening. llcooldave (309), San Antonio, Texas, USA Aug 23, 2007 Pours a nice copper color. Head dissipated quickly with virtually no lacing. Clean taste that finished with a light but pleasing, lingering bitterness. Aroma picked up a slight toffee/malt scent as the beer warmed up. Overall a great amber beer perfect for almost any occasion. Goodgrief (1144), Middletown, Delaware, USA Aug 15, 2007 I’m not afraid to say that I liked this. Poured a copper, orangey yellow clear brew with a little head and little lacing. It does taste like a mild bock, but with a little lager bite to it. Wasn’t overly sweet like many bocks. When sitting at a bar without great micro choices, this isn’t a bad fallback. snang (2), USA does not count Aug 15, 2007 Delicious. First time I had this beer was on tap. A beautiful looking pint. Very smooth beer, goes down easy. Slightly bitter finish. Acknud (770), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA Aug 14, 2007 Amber pour. non-existent head. tastes more carbonated than it looks. Tastes of sweet malt. johnny2feet (7), jacksonville, North Carolina, USA does not count Aug 11, 2007 I’m a big fan of this beer, definitly one of my favorites. A very nice amber beer, that definitly makes Texas proud.
