Very interesting deep amber coloration. Head disappeared almost immediately, and despite good coloration and aroma, this beer remains relatively flavorless. Good beer, just wish it had more flavor.

on tap at redwood in capitol hill. pretty bland and lacks any distinct notes, somewhat watery/syrupy finish with just a hint of a malt kick.

UPDATED: APR 10, 2011 Used to be my go to beer.... Much more watery and bland than I remember - both in taste and palate. re-rate 04/11 - bumped up a couple notches - solid macro (can’t say that much) Still goes down smooth

This is flat out my favorite beer. I am biased, being born and raised in Texas. But outside of centuries old German breweries, I can not find anything that I like as much.
