There wasn’t much to choose from on tap, so I told the waitress, let’s go with the one I haven’t tried yet. I wasn’t expecting it to be too good, but I was slightly surprised. Not a bad looking and tasting beer. Way bettter than the Bud, Bud Light, or Coors I could of had instead. I actually ordered a second glass. JAF737300 (792), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 24, 2007 This poured dark brown wth almost no head. It has a decent aromaa of hops and the flavor really invoked a deep full beer with out the heaviness. The paalte was rich but smooth. AdamGott (190), Idaho Falls, Idaho, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 22, 2007 malty aroma, slightly hoppy (more so than, say, a Keystone or Keystone light), very malty and a clean no-yeast flavor. Better than your average american swill but not by much. theisti (1650), Leawood, Kansas, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 22, 2007 Bottle. This was another one of my "gateway" beers, from swill to craft. Drinking it after "the revolution", its still quite tasty though more thin and watery than I remember. If you are looking for a cheap "dark" beer, Huber Bock is probably a better option. I’m excited. We have a cloudy dark orange pour. Kind of looks like an IIPA with a small head. Yea, this will be tasty. Let’s take a sniff. Mm. Okay, good. I’m picking up some egg cartons, creamed corn, clipped grass, river water. Flavor is a bit cleaner, I must say.Mineral water, light bread, caramel, yea. Not gagging by any means. . .not very appetizing. It’s a nice step away from BMC.

Bottle. Pours solid red, looks kind of thin and relatively see-through. The aroma is a little rough, kind of papery with apples, corn, metal. Again, the flavor is better. Just predictable sweet malts, very timid hops, apple peels, and an interesting hint at cinnamon. Could be worse. But, uh, this ain’t no bock. superd44688 (49), Canton, Ohio, USA

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | May 16, 2007 This was dissapointing especially has well as the Hefenweizen was. I know they r 2 different types of beer however this did not have any taste. More like an amber bock by a macro brew. kkearn (997), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | May 15, 2007 Bottle. Orange-amber with a thin off white head. Sweet caramel malt aroma. I pick up a small herbal character in the nose; mapbe woodruff? Disappointing thin body. Basic caramel malt flavor. Nothing special.
