2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Proteus93 (65) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - SEP 28, 2008
A brownish golden pour into a stange (I like using that glass from time to time!) Head was pretty pathetic, very fizzy and gone about as soon as it came.
A little bit of malty sweetness, and the slightest bit of faint dark fruit.
Very lacking in flavour, which is a real disappointment. A bit of malt graininess, and a little bit of a metallic edge.
A little thin, but a reasonable dryness to finish, which is alright. It’s certainly a sessionable drink, but probably not for my taste. I would certainly go elsewhere for a refreshing brew, even to use as "lawnmower beer"
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Neematoad (76) - , Illinois, USA - SEP 23, 2008
Dark Amber beer with a nice full smell. Taste of malt with a little bit of sweetness. Finishes smoothly with a little bite to it. Definitely one of my favorite "standards".
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 thendrix (7) - USA - SEP 17, 2008 does not count
One of my favorite "go-to" beers when you just want to have a couple and relax without thinking too hard. Sometimes the beer can go down creamy and smooth, and sometimes it has a harsher effect on the pallett. I’m convinced it depends on ones mood and physical state.
Recommended fo sure!

Bottle at Chiles in Osan, South Korea. Nice to see a different beer in a country that suffers from poor beer. Pours amber/brown with a tan head. Aroma is weak but is slightly sweet. Tastes light and sweet, more malty than hoppy. Easy to drink. Good job!
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 StFun (565) - Indiana, USA - SEP 14, 2008
A very good session beer, and a great gateway beer, but not really as good as I had thought or hoped for. Pours a deep ruby red. No real hops or barley in this one. Some carmel notes, almost a candy like finish. Thin and good.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 RunDWP (203) - San Jose, California, USA - SEP 8, 2008
Bottle. Dark brown with a fizzy white head that didn’t last long. No lacing on the glass. Slight nutty, roasty aroma. Flavor is a little complex, with roasted malt, a touch of sweetness and a little nutty flavor. A little over carbonated, and a bit thin and watery. A refreshing beer with some body to it.
