Bottle - small foamy head that fades quickly, dark amber color, dry palate, malty taste. I used to really like this back in college, OK at best now.

Shiner Bock is a great summer time beer which pairs perfectly with a Bar-B-Q

Had many of these one night in shner Texas with a few navy buddies so I apologize if this is not the most accurate rating, brownish amber with a thin white head. Taste is of a macro lager with a little brown sugar and nutty bread. Easy to drink but does not hold up against some of the new craft beers.

Appearance is a deep amber with little to no head. Aroma is a lot of sweet malt. Taste is pretty bland caramel chocolate malts. Overall I hoped for better, but it’s still solid.

Pours dark brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, dried fruits and caramel. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle from my brother-in-law who brought home the beer from a business trip in Texas. Pours a root beer color with a thick, brown head. What I like of this beer is its pillow-like, soft tasting texture with a palate that is almost akin to Guinness or Boddington’s. With mostly a malty flavor, this brew has spice and cola notes. Pretty good session beer.

This made for a decent brew to drink in Vegas. Pours nice and dark. Drinks smooth. I wasn’t really paying close enough attention to rate it properly, but I liked it enough to say I’ll have it again sometime.

Bottle from Bottle King. Nice amber body with smallish head. Nose is malty, floral. Taste is sweet, caramel, toffee. malts. Pretty enjoyable bock. Nice syrupy texture.
