Pours orange-brown with thin white head. Very insipid aroma. Thin watery taste, with light carbonation. Not a bock beer by any standards, more of a bad American mass-market amber lager. Borderline drain pour. Maybe OK as a first step away from the Bud-Miller-Coors taste.

Old rating. Amber colored. Minimal caramel, malt, and hop flavors. Fairly thin...still better than most macros.

At Houston airport. From the bottle. I've had before many times. Slight malty caramel notes with slight hop notes. Medium light body. Smooth flavor throughout. Easy to drink. Just enough flavors in this beer to make it moderately satisfying.

Rich malty flavor like bread and sweet like honey. A bit of hops to support the malt and sweetness. Finish is not that great. Good session beer at 4.4%.

Readily available beer in Texas that is heads and shoulders above your average macro beer. Good fall back option when the pickings are slim. Pours Amber, light head. Caramel, grainy aroma, slightly sweet. Taste is caramel malts. Grains, slight toast. A bit watery. Light body, high carbonation.

This my favorite, it’s a dark beer and goes great with a beer snack, it makes the best michalada, highly recommended and this beer has grown regionally over the last few years, very easy to find in Texas especially central and south texas, it is brewed in a small community where the folks are friendly and proud of this brands heritage, Try it it will win yo over

12 oz bottle poured. Pours a penny copper color with a wet, mild malts aroma. Flavor is clean, smooth, light. Flavor isn’t the best, but it’s not bad. No bitterness to it. More sweet than anything. It’s alright.
