Almost orderless, medium caramel taste with a funky hay finish. Very mediocre lager.

Bottle. Pours brown with no head. Plum aroma. Sweet malt flavor throughout with a little metallic taste. Slight bitterness at the end. I had low expectations but I’d say this is average.

Quite thin. I guess this an American bock? It doesn’t really stand up to a traditional German bock. There is some malt character -- a hint of caramel. Not much in the way of hop character. Just not much there.

Dark copper pour. No head to speak of. Highly carbonated, think body. Toasted malt aroma, bland taste. Bleh.

Bronze orange color. Little head. Taste of malt, yams, copper bread, and salty cheese. Good considering the low abv. One is plenty, or forever.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass, Aroma- Has a slight doughy aroma with a floral hop backdrop Appearance- An amber to dark brown color, Slight off white head that does not linger. Taste- A nice malt flavored beer with some bitterness Palate- A medium bodied beer with a medium carbonation level. This pairing works for me Overall- A pretty good bock style beer. If someone has not experienced this style of beer I would recommend that they try this one first, I think this is a nice mid-range flavor for this style

Pleasant caramel malt taste. Smooth wit h no bitterness. Mild malt aroma. Clear dark brown color with a head that thins out quick. Surprisingly refreshing for a dark beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2014 Pours clear chestnut brown, brief fizzy head. Aroma is beery... that aroma you get when walking into college beer hall... yeasty dough. Flavor is lightly sweet malt. Palate is a little like drinking root beer (with less fizz). For a beer it is watery. It?s not bad - straight forward, barley pop.

On tap at Reading Phils game. Medium amber pour under a thin light tan head. Simple, a little sweet, malty flavor, nothing too heavy or sticky. Good for a ballgame, but nothing amazing.

Decent product. As a Texan I am a little biased to the product. I believe that Shiner is an average beer at best that is worth trying if you are looking to expand your horizons to lagers within the United States. Other than that, not much more to write about. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Like PBR with caramel color. Has nothing whatsoever to do with a Bock beer.
