Pours a clear copper with a minimal white head. Aromas of bread, and some caramel. Flavors of faint caramel malts, brown sugar, and some toast. Not a very impressive beer, but highly drinkable and unoffensive offering.

It looks like beer. It kinda smells like beer. Taste however is bland. Pours a decent amber color. No head. No lacing. Grainy smell. Buy something else.

12 fl. oz. bottle. Pours a clear, dark amber colour with a thin white head. Weak aroma of malt and caramel. Sweet flavour of roasted malt and caramel with a slightly bitter finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. It pours a medium to darker amber color with a head that stays around. The aroma is fairly straight forward with dark sweet malts, maybe some molasses, and only the slightest hop note. The body is light to medium but it is smooth. The taste has a bolder, sweeter malt character but nothing that goes overboard. A mild bitterness at the end. Reminds me of beer from the golden age of the 1950’s.

The brew is amber in color. There is no lacing on the glass. The head disappeared fairly quickly. It had a mild aroma with a bit of caramel, but not much else was discernible. There was lemon and caramel in the taste. It was smooth and just a tad on the dry side. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Transfer from BA review on 10-19-12- Poured from bottle into pint glass Appearance – Pours an amber-brown color with a tiny white head. The head fades within seconds to leave no lacing. Smell –The aroma is a mix of caramel and some lighter fruit smells. The fruit has a good presence of an apple aroma as well as a lighter showing of some grape. With these sweeter aromas are some lighter bready smells as well, which while they round out the smell some, can’t quite balance the sweeter smells. Taste – The taste begins with some bready flavors as well as some of the fruit that was detected in the nose. Fruit flavors of grape along with a lighter caramel sweetness complement the bready flavors. The fruit fades as more caramel and some light roasted flavors come to the tongue. In the end a light herbal flavor and a drying out of the sweetness creates a crisper flavor on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the thinner side with the carbonation level being about average. While the carbonation is good for the drinkability of the beer the thin body does not do a nice job of highlighting the flavors and is too thin for the style. Overall – While the flavors are decent, the look, feel and aroma are not the greatest. Just alright.

Very watery, light-bodied dark beer with faint traces of sweet malts but not much else going for it. Smooth and refreshing.

Bottle from the mixed sixer. Pours out a very thin looking amber. Little to no head. Fine carbonation. Not much notable aromas or flavors. Quite bland. Thin body and finish. Lackluster.

Appearance- dark mahogany brown. Small thin head that disappeared quickly. Just about no lacing. Smell- clean, light, biscuity. Taste- almost nothing going on here. I struggled to identify any character other than feint maltiness (and a tiny bit of sweetness). Mouthfeel- thin, ultra light bodied, watery. Overall- barely even OK. Disappointing. For home consumption? Absolutely not! For mass consumption? Fine (i.e. tailgating, BBQ’s), especially if it’s hot outside and the beer is ice cold (to help hide its deficiencies). Cheers!

Draft. Poured an amber brown with a razor thin white top. Taste of caramel malts, slight fruit and a metallic finish. Medium carbonation, thin body. Meh
