(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a clear, dark amber with a creamy, off-white head. Sweetish, malty caramelish nose. Medium body dominated by roasted malt and again some caramel. Sweetish, but not overwhelmingly so. Almost no bitterness. According to German tradition this is far from a Bock, but for an American macro it’s not really too bad. 200306

Nut brown. Rather thin, some soft bitterness. Not a bock by any means, but a lot better than the mega lagers.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden deep orange to amber with a small white head. Breadish, light caramelish and roasted aroma. Flavour is subdued sweet, caramelish and mild roasted. Vague metallic and flat finish.

I wouldn’t go so far as to call this beer bad, but I wouldn’t call it good, either. But it’s usually served too damn cold for anyone to tell the difference anyway.

Amber color; big head. Light aroma, stronger taste, anyway with anything else than caramel; a bit metallic and some residual sweetness. Too simple.

Decent beer, nothing special. Medium head on a copper liquid. Pleasant malty aroma, flavor is fairly neutral, a bit caramelly. Slight bitterness comes through in the aftertaste.
