A nice dark pour and a good smooth taste. Not quite a bock but it's still a good beer to drink on a warm sunny day. pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 27, 2007 Updated: Dec 24, 2007Re-rate11-19-07 bottle. Funky malt aroma. Little to no real flavor. Watery and bland. Better than Bud Light - but nothing special. Thin brown color with no lasting head. Extra points overall because it is a Texas beer. cking (1041), North Canton, Ohio, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jun 22, 2007 Sixer on sale so I figured it would be a prime time to finally sampling this sucker. About what I anticipated, not grand by any means just an easy going drink with some solid character. Minimal scent of sweet bready malt, and that’s it for the aroma. Nice light brown/amber pour with an initial thick off white head. Easy on the palate very drinkable, light, and smooth. Quenching and simple. Flavor is a watery sweet malt with some biscuit characteristic. Sweet with a dry honey quality. Fairly simple beer, should agree with the majority. Ron (1041), Rochester, New York, USA

Clear brown color with a thin off-white head. Sweet malty aroma with some light corn. Thin flavor with some hints of darker malt, and a corn aftertaste.

| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jan 9, 2007 Definitely not a bock. Pours a clear bubbly brown color with a medium amount of foamy offwhite head. Aroma is slighlty corny and hop and sweet sweet sugar. Flavor is light, sweet and watery. Bit of brown sugar taste to it. Overall, not a bock. IslandHaole (1035), Onna-Son, Okinawa-Ken, Japan
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 9, 2004 A clear deep Amber with a foamy, off-white head. Very mild sweet scent. Feels like a macro lager & tastes slightly better than one. Not what I had hopes for.
