Is a distinctive, rich, full-flavored, deep amber-colored beer with an inviting smooth taste without excessive bitterness.

Clear reddish brown. Head dies quick. Aroma is malty caramel. Taste is sweet mal and caramel and a little bitter. Not a top pick in my opinion.

12 oz. bottle at Wayne’s World Bar and Grill. Pours golden with a good head. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. One of my favorite Shiner’s.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, no bottle dating. Pours crystal clear reddish brown color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas and caramel, brown sugar, brown bread, toast, biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of dark/bready malt and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of caramel, brown sugar, brown bread, toast, biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of caramel, brown sugar, toast, biscuit, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Good balance and solid robustness of dark/bready malt and earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness on the finish; and very clean lager flavors, with zero yeast ester notes present. Medium carbonation and light bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and watery mouthfeel that is okay. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.4%. Overall this was an okay vienna lager style. All around good balance and solid robustness of dark/bready malt and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A decently enjoyable offering.

This is probably one of the more disgusting beers that is out there. Looks like black tar-water and tastes like someone took an old chocolate candy bar and burned it in the oven then sprinkled it with coffee grinds and cigarette ashes to top it off. Why anyone would drink this crap is beyond comprehension.

Taste hints of hay, toffee and some malt. A decent brew. It’s a light beer that you can drink plenty of during dinner or a get together.

Thank you Ron, from the outdoor refrig (in ILL??) Tasty enough - some caramel-ish, some toffee. A touch of lemon. Would not have said a vienna. 11.4

On tap at Texas Roadhouse. Pours a dark red with a white head. Aromas of, caramel, toast and flavor the same. Light bodied lager. Little to no lacing. Ok beer definitely better on tap than in a bottle.

Out of a bottle. Dark amber hue with thin white head. No lacing as I drink. Roasted nutty sweetness with hints of toffee. Thin mouth feel and very crisp. Very drinkable but little hop profile. It would be nice to have some dry or bitter notes to balance the sweet quality.

Bottle. Thanks, Nate. Rough malty nose, light caramel. Medium amber color. Thin caramel initial, some corn, touch of bittering, small tracks. Thin body. Thin, light, and moderately tasty. Doesn’t really "shine," and it’s not a bock.
