Nice drinking beer. Enjoyed with a big Thanksgiving meal. Pours a dark amber color with no head. Taste and smell hint of honey. Simple but enjoyable.

A great Texas classic. Average when drinking without food, but great when served off the tap in a frozen goblet with a couple pounds of crawfish! Overall a good beer.

Had this on tap. Grainy aroma with a hint of hoppiness. Clear, copper color. Thin white head. Moderate carbonation. Malty, caramel flavor without being sweet. Nice grainy aftertaste that lingers nicely. I like this beer.

Nice beer to drink "ice cold" on a HOT day; very limited distribution until just recently (in this area=Indiana).

Very easy drinking beer without the sissy lightweight feel of most American mainstream beers. As a bock, it has some soul to it. Not radical, edgy, or ground-breaking, but solid.

Poured quickly into a beer mug you can’t help smell a nice toasty, caramel aroma. Drinks easily with a medium body and a slight sweet- maltyness. Finishes quickly but leaves you wanting more. A very drinkable beer that pairs well with spicy or mexican food!

Likeable beer like a friend who just invited you over for beer. Medium bodied, smooth and rich like my friend the neighbor who invited me over for a beer.
