This is a drinkable beer that appears to have a strong following from my Texas friends. They are just as passionate about this beer as my brother is when he proclaims that Bud Light is the beer that gawd would drink. Anyways, had from the bottle provided by my employer while at a happy hour for the meet and greet with my advisor. Skunky malty with just a hint of malts. The taste was moderate with some strong malts, roasted with just a bit of cream. Watery and thin with a fairly strong skunkyness to it. Finishes dry and slightly bitter. As I said before, drinkable and pleasant. richlikebeer (832), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours a deep ruby red. No real hops or barley in this one. Some carmel notes, almost a candy like finish. Thin and good. Bradrcr (785), Renton, Washington, USA

Very light aroma overall. Appearance is deep amber with a medium off-white head. Flavor is lightly grainy, slightly sweet malt forward followed by medium bittering and light hop flora. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, clean, with a low carb texture and dry finish. Overall, just slightly more malty than a light lager, but the same low flavor profile. badnloose (99), North Hollywood, California, USA

Pours dark amber with a decent but fading off-white head. Smells mostly of toasty cereal with a little caramel and a ghostly wisp of hops. Tastes like honky tonks, BBQ joints, and Rangers baseball. Metallic bitter finish.
