There wasn’t much to choose from on tap, so I told the waitress, let’s go with the one I haven’t tried yet. I wasn’t expecting it to be too good, but I was slightly surprised. Not a bad looking and tasting beer. Way bettter than the Bud, Bud Light, or Coors I could of had instead. I actually ordered a second glass. MikeyLikesIt (10), Austin, Texas, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 15, 2008 Bottle. Poured Dark red brown with a small head and no lacing. Aroma is grassy and slightly malty, like a lager. Thin flavour with some slight caramel note. Slight but lingering finish, with a bit of bitterness. The previous rater is right, this is not a bock, this a dark lager, better than most industrial lagers, but this is not a bock. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA

Pours a dark brown, clearish color with a bit of head. Carbonated well, with a fairly subdued taste at first, then a sweet, smooth malt finish. Fairly light bodied overall, easy to drink. boomerbrew (57), Texas, USA

Aroma was okay, malty but low hop aroma. Head disappeared quickly with no lacing, but plenty of carbonation when drinking. color was dark and then red when tilting glass. Real good taste with balanced blend with hops and malt. I think being a draft made the difference. Good American dark lager. v64 (74), Austin, Texas, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | May 22, 2008 Pours dark brown/amber, small head, dissipates quickly. Not much of an aroma, definitely can detect the malt. Nothing unique about the taste, malty, very slight roasted flavor. Not bitter at all, tastes smooth. It’s good for the price, definitely one of the best you can get at a typical bar. Caleb1035 (63), , North Carolina, USA
