Decent little brew, flavor is a light sweet malty flavor. Not a lot of depth overall but refreshing none the less.

(Bottle into a dimpled mug) Poured a dark amber with one finger white head that dissipated very quickly. The nose was of a nutty caramel/molasses sweetness with a tiny hint of the yeast. Nothing too obtrusive, however. Lively carbonation in the mouth, and the drink itself was very smooth. The slight sweetness of the malts came forward as expected, but surprisingly there was very little bite at the end, which I have encountered in other examples of this style. A nice average offering and very drinkable -- I would think a nice hoagie would work nice here.

12 oz. bottle to pint glass. Light amber with short lived head, almost non-existent. Yeast dominates, but with a slight skunk. Has weak roasted malt taste, which is only redeeming quality, no real finish. Thin and carbonated. May play well in Texas, but I’d say it pales to most bocks I’ve had.

Pours clear copper with weak off white head. The mild aroma has notes of caramel, malts and slight nuttiness. The taste is similar with modest notes of nuttiness, caramel, sugar sweetness and some floral hops. It builds up to be very sweet with additional sips.

Bottle. Amber pour, small head. Malty and caramel nose and taste, but a little funky. Decent in a pinch, but wouldn’t choose it if given options.

(sample) Pours a amber copper color with little head which leads to no lacing. Bread and roasted malts in the nose. Taste is same as the nose but it also has a fruity and skunky component. It has a medium to low carbonation and a sliqhtly bizzare aftertaste.

Bottle. Not a very good beer. Skunky, with a slight malt aroma. Taste like a traditional mass marketed beer.

~Biscuity and caramel malt aroma, yeasty ester of green apple. Yeastiness dominates. ~Very clear amber color with small off white head that quickly disappears. ~Crisp caramel and biscuit malt taste with some green apple yeastiness. ~Light body with high carbonation. Sour like finish. ~ I much rather drink a Bock like I was expecting. Do not drink this on an empty stomach..

2009 Bottle - I wasn’t planning on drinking this now, but I dropped the bottle on my kitchen floor and it started foaming out the side of the cap, so I guess why not...Pours clear amber with a medium off white head...aroma is roasted grain, dry malt, the slightest lager skunk...flavour is metallic and grainy, old hay and very light hop bitterness...bland, meh...
