2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
12fl oz bottle poured into a scotch glass (Iím at a hotel and itís all I could find). Slight amber hue, mostly brown with a fair amount of lingering creamy tan head. Aroma is a bit yeasty, with some metallic notes, kind of a dishwater quality to it. Flavor is slight sweet malt. Finish is the same with some metal. Very thin bodied, watery. Tolerable but not great.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours clear mahogany with about a finger of off-white head. Aroma of caramel, rye bread, burnt butter. Taste is sweet, nutty, again with burnt butter, and slightly roasty. Light, smooth body with soft carbonation.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle in LA. A bit of malt character but pretty unexciting. Nothing like a good bock should be.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear amber pour with little white head dissipates quickly. Toasted malt, carmel and slight vanilla aroma. Roasted malt flavor dominates. Crisp mouthfeel. Short drying aftertaste with some of the bitterness from malts.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Deep amber red/brown with small white head, a little lacing left behind. Very light nose of vanilla, sweet caramel malt. Pretty much a macro beer taste; with a little vanilla thrown in. Light body, high on carbonation.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a dark amber color with a small head of fizzy bubbles that quickly goes away leaving some lacing. Bottle is basic and generic, but not bad. Smells slightly sweet of caramel and some small measure of maltiness and bready, no surprise there. Taste is slightly bitter, slightly sweet with a sweet watery finish.
Overall itís not really bad, but nothing to write home about. Cheap at a mere 3$ for a large bottle. Goes great with a cheap meal!

Bottle 0,354ltr: Clear brown with an red glow colored brew, taste is some how dry bitter and hints of roasted malts and some fruitiness. More of an Dark Lager than an Bock. Courtesy from mine brother-in-law who takes this from the USA.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can, shared by me... in my dining room... just now.
Pours a deep reddish brown with a small head.
The aroma is mild, lightly sweet and a little bit toasty. Maybe some leaf rot and a bit of herbal hop character.
The flavor is lightly sweet with a little bit of fruitiness and a touch of vanilla. The roast character is pronounced but very mild & the bitterness is herbal and fairly low.
An extremely mellow and drinkable beer, nothing wrong with it, but nothing especially exciting either. Itís a reasonably expensive beer for what it is in my neck of the woods otherwise Iíd probably drink more of it.... maybe not.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Poured a dark coppery amber colour with a two-finger off-white frothy head that diminished quickly to a collar that laced poorly. Carbonation moderate to high with medium to coarse bubbles. Aroma of not overly strong sweet caramel and light malt; no obvious hops; aroma is like a traditional bock. Taste of moderately sweet malt and no real bitterness; a bit bland; tastes like a sweet lager. Light body, a bit thin. Smooth and clean with quite a sweet finish. A bit lager-like and not very flavoursome. Average at best. Thanks Chrissie from bringing this from the USA.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Rated from old notes. Pours reddish brown. Light-bodied and smooth. Faint honey tastes at outset, but this beer fails to develop further. Drinkable. More like a German altbier than a bock.

Decent beer on the less expensive side of things. The Yuengling for people in Pennsylvania who are too cool to drink Yuengling. For everyone else, itís just an okay beer.
