1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
frothy white head that lingers. amber straw color very clear. aroma of carmel and basementy yeast. Has the distinctive belgian yeast flavor. light to mid body. slightly more hops profile than Iím used to with a saison. Definitely an american interpretation of the style. I would recommend this one to a macro-fan who is feeling a little adventurous.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear orangish gold color with a one-finger white head and decent lacing. Aroma is slight funkiness, fruity, and grassy. Taste is sweeter than most saisons. The flavors are fruity and spicy with a bit of yeast funkiness.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cloudy yellow pour with a white head. Aroma is dough, spiciness and some barnyard weirdness. Flavor is doughy, bready, and a little cloying. Dry this one out a bit and it might be nice, but it feels a light soft in the middle.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Aroma of gum, dough and clove, slight pepper. Appearance is gold with short lived foamy white head. Flavor starts out a little peppery, and then moves into sustained gummy sweetness; the finish is very lightly spiced. Palate is light, creamy and soft. Decent enough.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 ounce bottle. Served in a Unibroue tulip, the beer pours a hazy gold color with an inch white head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. The brew smells like wheat, bubblegum, and a bit of peppery spice. I think the taste is pretty much like the aroma, with the wheat flavor being the strongest. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, itís a bit coating with moderate carbonation. I think itís a solid beer. $1.99 a single bottle.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Wheat and farmhouse aroma with a sweet vineous component thatís like Chardonnay. Clear medium pale yellow with a white head. A little pepper spice, coriander and funk with a good malt body. Low carbonation and the head dies quickly. Finishes slightly sweet with lasting Saison flavor. Easy to drink and refreshing, this is good warm weather beer.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Not a very good saison. A bit too carbonated and had too much spice. Wish it was a little bit more mellow.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Had this at Bella Milano in Edwardsville, not normally a place known for beer. Twelve ounce bottle. A hazed pour with a nice big white head. A decent but light aroma of fruit with a tiny hint of farmhouse funk. Light fruit with pale malts were tasted. Some buttery effects. This was decent and over priced there (almost $10). A tick is a tick.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at an Old Chicago. Pours a near orangish gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of flora with supporting sweet citrus and backing sweet grains. Flavor starts with sweet citrus and potpourri and has a sweet grain finish.

Alittle sour and citrus. Clear and clean with a taste of wheat. Pretty good. A little flat on draft
