Lightly cloudy with a sour yeasty aroma. Medium bodied with a sour bite and a light fizziness. Basically average for its style. Pretty drinkable.

12oz bottle pours hazy gold with copper hues and weak loose white head. The aroma is yeasty spice, a touch of acidity, mild graininess and hints of fruity esters. The taste begins with yeasty spice and a dash of acidity followed quickly by light skin colored fruitiness. By midway a touch of graininess is noticed before hints of banana and wheat well up.

Bottle. Poured a hazy orange with a decent white head. Aroma I got some wheaty malt and small citrus. Taste I was a bit disappointed. Overall a bad Palate with not much to offer going down. Just...felt bland to me. Tasted a watered down wheat with a touch of hops to pair with it.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 ttutony (509) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 13, 2009
UPDATED: MAR 6, 2011 Hazy yellow in the glass. Wheat and a touch of citrus on the palate. Lacking in the typical yeast characteristics that define the hefeweizen style to me, but luckily appropriately classified as simply a wheat ale on this website.

Pours hazy yellow with white head.
Nose reminds of tart candies, citrus candies.
Palate has a wild sweet/sour orange taste, zesty high carbonation, and finishes tart/sour.
After inspection, it is now clear that they add stuff to this beer. It’s not a traditional Bavarian example.
Gimmicky and deceptive.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 weihenweizen (634) - West Virginia, USA - DEC 10, 2009
UPDATED: APR 2, 2010 Refigerated bottle poured into a weizen glass. Good carbonation, pours a hazy golden, some lacing, with small head. Taste is nice malty wheat with a little citrus and finishes grainy wheat, not much clove or banana, and a hint of sourness. Ok for an american hefeweizen.

Poured from bottle. Nice foamy head came right over the edge of the glass. Cloudy, yellowish amber. Slight hints of clove on the nose.

Pours cloudy dark golden color with white head. Aromas of wheat and citrus. Sour lemon flavor with some wheat. It doesn’t have the usual spices associated with hefeweizens. Light to medium body with mild carbonation.
