2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 dmschefke (440) - Macomb, Michigan, USA - AUG 16, 2009
Pours a nice hazy yellow gold with thick white head, decent lacing. Aroma mild of wheat, very little yeast, and not a lot else. Flavor has a little more substance to it, but is very refreshing and enjoyable when it is all said and done. I don’t think it stays to category well though.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 nhamilton (103) - Cibolo, Texas, USA - AUG 16, 2009
Pours as expected, that is , cloudy, pale yellow, and with a small, white head. Taste is only average and somewhat sour. Goes down easy enough. The brewery this is made at has some outstanding beers, but this is not one of their better ones.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 Acetobacter (816) - Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 14, 2009
Experienced from a 12oz bottle in a pub glass. It is laughable that this beer is advertised as a Hefeweizen, as it shows none of the notes of the aformentioned in aroma, appearance, or palate. The beer pours the color and clarity of an American lager, and the flavor profile shows more Budweiser than Franziskeiner. No yeast-derived fruitiness, and an almost acidic note in the palate drive this utterly disappointing beer.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 RasterMaster (223) - , Oklahoma, USA - AUG 3, 2009
Hazy blonde pour into thick white foamy head that quickly dissipates into melting lacing as carbonated bubbles rise from the malty chunks in the bottom of the glass. Aroma of malt and wheat bread. Initial flavor of sweet malt with hints of citrus and yeasty wheat in the finish.
2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 JFGrind (1552) - Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 30, 2009
Thick head, golden bodied, light hefe, with a strong citrus flavor. I agree with the other raters the hefeweizen style is not represented well in this wheat beer. But for some reason I liked it, must of been the hot summer weather.

From tap at Yard House in San Diego. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Light fruity and mild wheaty aroma. Flavour is light bitter and fruity wheaty. Mild acidic touch to a light bitterness into the finish. Ends with a light citric to acidic semi dry impression.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 MeisterBrew (138) - Cheyenne, Wyoming, USA - JUL 23, 2009
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy light golden color with a good sized foamy white head. Aroma is malty with a very slight hint of spice in the background. Flavor is very weak, no hefe flavor to be found. Not a horrible beer, but definitely not a good hefe.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 cheshirecassie (2) - Michigan, USA - JUL 10, 2009 does not count
Very beautiful golden red color -- not typical of hefeweizens by other brewers. One of my favorite hefeweizens though! Best to try it cold, from the tap at the brewery tasting room. Still good from the bottle, though.
