COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Shiner Hefeweizen (Hef-ay-vite-zen) is a classic unfiltered Bavarian-style wheat brew. Once poured into a glass, the distinctively cloudy Shiner Hefeweizen delivers a fresh, satisfying flavor from start to finish.

A little disappointing one, I have waited for it for about two years and it was almost completely flavourless.

Little aroma, cloudy yeloow pour. Acetyl up front was not what I wanted, but it finished a bit better. Notes of honey and citrus, but this is a mediocre example of a hefe at best. Is it me or did Shiner make better beer 15 years ago???

Hefe isn’t my favorite style but I do like a well made one. This isn’t a well made one. I don’t like something in the taste ... this is brewed with honey? Maybe its that.

Pours yellowish. Smells odd. Overpowering taste. Wouldn’t buy but also wouldn’t turn one down if offered.

Bottle. Pours incredibly cloudy gold. Aroma is of wet wheat (not good). Tastes as a Hefeweizen should, but with too much citrus added.

Pours yellow with no head. This beer smells off to me. Flavor is sour: something like the juice from a jar of green olives. Same taste is in the mouth. I’ve tasted this flavor before and I don’t like it. This place has some quality control issues. I took about 2 swigs and dumped the bottle. I’ll save the rest of the sixer for my golf buddies who don’t know any better. So much for Lance Armstrongs favorite brewery.
