Bottle- Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a nice head and some lacing. Primarily a grainy aroma with some citrus and a trace of spice.
Sort of swettgrainy taste with a bit of spice, very mild bitterness and clean finish. Quite refreshing. Nearly medium body, crisp and clean.
Good summer beer that goes down easy.

Another average hefe. Orange pour with a nice yeasty citrus flavor. A pretty nice sessionable hefe.

This Hefeweizen is most certainly not Reihenheitsgebot, as it contains orange and lemon peel and is also bottle conditioned with honey. On the bright side, it is non-pasteurized. The fruit spices are very mild, however, and it is a little more German in direction--with fancy terms like "Prost!" on the label--than the more common Belgian-style wit beers produced by our macro-brewing friends, such as Blue Moon by Coors/Molson and Shock Top by AB-InBev.
While they recommend serving with a lemon wedge--sacrilege to any true Bavarian weissbier--I avoided such nonsense. The brew pours very light and with a pale straw color. The head was unfortunately almost non-existent. The body is also thin and the aroma has just the faintest hint of fruit. Very mildly hopped, it drinks very easy and is, as they suggest, a nice summer refresher.
This is better than most American wheat beers as it has a little of the classic weiss’n character, however it certainly isn’t anything to write home to mom about. It’s a nice, non-offensive and refreshing pour

Bottle.
A - More or less what you would expect with a cloudy, hazed straw color. A little lighter color than other hefeweizens. Full, thick, rocky, creamy, sticky, white head. Really nice retention
S - Nose is lacking a bit, at least in the banana, clove, etc. that I really want in a hefewizen. Has a fairly strong wheaty and lemony aroma. Some toasted grain as well.
T - Like the aroma, there is a strong wheaty sweetness but there is only the very slightest hint of banana. Very faint spiciness as well. Finishes with a decent amount of lemony tartness.
M - Lighter side of medium body with about average carbonation.
D - Meh, I had no problem finishing the bottle, but I am not reaching for another. A little too much tartness and not enough banana, clove, bubblegum etc. hefeweizen flavors.
Notes: I probably would have guessed this was an American Pale Wheat or something, not a hefeweizen. Some wheat sweetness with tart wheat and lemon flavors dominating the flavor with only hints of what I was expecting. Not horrible, and would be fine on a warm day, but not exactly what I am going to reach for.

Cloudy yellow-orange body with small white head. The aroma is pretty weak, with faint yeast and sweet malt. The flavor has grains and malt. Not much of a hefe at all. More of a wheat ale, but not very good either way.

bottle. Pours a hazy orange yellow with fizzy off white head. Aroma of spiced wheat, slight lemon. There may be kind of a clove aspect similar to a hefeweizen but it is very subdued. Medium bodied, with flavor of spiced wheat, and a citrus aspect on the finish, lemon and orange. It certainly doesn’t taste much like a hefeweizen, but if you can forgive that, it is a very drinkable, unoffensive wheat ale.
