2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 scrizzz (2183) - Bothell, Washington, USA - DEC 27, 2010
Some clove aroma, artificial lemon. Clear gold, slippery white head. There’s some orange, and come cloudy body, but I get too much of a metallic character and more of a chemical sting.

12oz bottle. Hazy orange-tan color, foamy off-white head. Clove, mild sweet malt aroma. Doesn’t really cut is a true Hefeweizen, if you ask me. Still an enjoyable enough session beer. Lemony, some mildly dry wheat tones. Quite zesty, lacks much yeasty depth though. OK.

Poured from a bottle. Appearance is a hazy gold with a thin, quickly dissipating whit head. Aroma is sweet citrus. Taste is light citrus with a bready undertone. Finish is somewhat bready. Light bodied for the style. Overall, its ok.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 vikingguy (456) - Chaska, Minnesota, USA - DEC 7, 2010
Pours a cloudy orange color with big foamy white head and floating sediment. Citrus and yeast on the nose. Taste is sweet wheat malt, orange, yeast and maybe a bit of floral honey flavor. Medium bitterness. Texture is slightly creamy. This would be a good summer brew.
1.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20 thirdeye11 (3910) - Dallas, Texas, USA - NOV 28, 2010
(12oz bottle) classist golden, lasting frothy white head. Nose of brine, a bit of candy sugar, lightly grassy, very subtle banana and orange. Smells nothing like a hefe. Taste is horrible. Infected beyond belief, orange peel and meat, grapefruit, earth, old grain, kaopectate, this is nasty. Longer is just as bad but carbonation is ok. This is absolutely nothing like a hefeweizen, and the only redeeming qualities are that it looks so so and has carbonation.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 DANEgerous (28) - Texas, USA - NOV 22, 2010
Severing, Bottler to Plizner glass.
Aroma: Nice, quite fragrant for what it is malty and somewhat nutty.
Color: Interesting cloudy orange, never found a beer that pride it’s self on a lack of clarity but hay this one does!
Taste: Surprisingly nice seeing as i can get a 6er for just over 6 bucks. Nice whet and orange with slight floral hints
Palate: Highly carbonated with nice body. Perhaps the most distinguishing part of it.
Overall: Huge bang for your buck this stuff sell for the same as generic big beer and easily drinks their milkshake. The only problem I have is that the mouth feel may throw some off but i find it quite nice. One of the few in it price range that has more of a distinguishing factor than"light" or "ice" and is actually held to the standards of a style of beer that is outside the norm.

Draft. An unclear dark golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of malt and wheat. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and wheat combined with strong notes of lemon. Not very German in its expression.

12 oz bottle with the "100 years of Shiner Label" I got during a quick stop in Michigan. Nose is a dirty funky oder much like their Bock I had a few day’s ago... with a small under lying wheat. I gave this one a chance, after having the Bock, I didn’t expect much. It must be the yeast this brewer uses. Because after the light wheat up front; the after taste is just bad. I’m REALLY upset I spent $7.99 on a six pack of this. Pass up and move to the next!! I’m giving a 2.2 because I like wheat ale’s and would hate to rate a 1.7. which is what it deserves!
