COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
’Tis the Season for Cheer

Happy Holidays from the "Little Brewery" in Shiner, TX. We hope you enjoy your Shiner Cheer, an Old World Dunkelweizen brewed with Texas peaches and roasted pecans. The malty flavors of this dark wheat ale are enhanced through the use of malted barley and wheat. And Kräusening ensures a smoothnessthat makes the subtle peach and pecan flavors all the more satisfying. May your days be merry and bright and your Shiner be cold.

Peaches & pecans? For Shiner, this is thinking outside the box on this one. It does smell and taste of peaches..has the Dunkelweizen flavor and taste. Big white head with nice lacing. Best Shiner product since the Mazan 96. Will buy more.

Purchased from a corner gas stop in Hampton Falls. $8.99 for the 6pack. To oversized snifter, it pours a ruby-tinted mahogany dark brown with which a trim an off-white head 1 finger in length stood. Aromas of caramelized pecans, srale medium roast coffee, roma grape tomatoes, aged hops, carrots, and peach-flavored seltzer. Tastes the same with the addition of Splenda, wheat breadcrumbs, and minerals.

Rated based on notes taken 20 Dec 2011 -- Man, peaches in a winter beer? Very surprising but they make it work, and it is good.

12 oz single bottle from Biggie Wine & Liquor. Brown and clear appearance with ruby hues and a light tan head. Aroma of peaches, berries, other fruit, bread, nutty malts and artificial sweeteners. Similar flavor, heavily sweet and fruity with minimal bitterness. Light to medium body, with average carbonation and a lingering, sweet finish. Boo

355ml twist off. Honestly this has alot of peach flavor, and some artificial as in not form actual peaches. It is reminiscent of peach o candy. It is a guilty pleasure of mine. Nowhere near a dunkelweizen. Ill rate it ok.

The cap on this say it’s a gift to me from Shiner. Thanks, Shiner, but while everyone says it’s the thought that counts, I would kind of have wished for a better beer if you were going to give me one. Jokes aside, this in not entirely awful. It is amber brown w/ a foamy head and just a touch of lace. It tastes like a mildly roasty American amber or brown with a hint of peach Jolly Ranchers. This is slightly sweet and actually seems to have a decent malt character underneath the slightly metallic hop bitterness and artificial flavor. Overall, this is drinkable--esp. when it is still quite cold--but I can’t exactly call it a quality beer. At the very least it is a break from more spice laden Christmas ales though.

Pours a clear amber with a fizzy head. Aroma is faint plum, peach, brown bread. Taste is a wave of peach pie wth pecan topping. Some caramel, a hint of pie spices. Light bodied. Kinda fizzy. Pecan is very pronounced in the finish. I didn’t find it overly sweet, definitely a unique brew. Worth a try.

Poured a dark amber colour with hints of ruby. Aroma is nutty with notes of peach and fig. Taste is pecan and peach with a bit of cream on the finish. Little presence of alcohol or bitterness. Interesting, but not a fan.

Bottle from ABC. Pours a beautiful dark golden amber with a thin head and almost no lacing. Aroma is equal parts fruit and nut, with the peach really coming through. Taste is very light, thin, and smooth; carbonation is pretty high. Very light-bodied with a surprisingly nice finish and aftertaste. A solid winter brew. Acquire. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle from Giant Eagle in Pittsburgh. A weak beer overall with a hint of peaches and pecans. I wouldn’t ask for a second.
