Bottle from Caponeís. Pours hazy chestnut with frothy off-white head. Nose is heavy cherry, cinnamon, nuts. Tastes of cherry, spice, malt, peach, and nuts, and although a bit sweet, tastes good.

Pours dark deep amber with a sandy colored head. Aroma is my favorite part, sweet, prevalent peaches straight up beautiful in the nose, so pleasant. Body is a bit thinner than I wanted but appropriate for the style. Flavors bring peaches and a sublte malty base, balanced well with a bit of toastiness and no bitterness.

Bottle into an ale glass. Pour is a dark amber with thin head. Aroma is a malt fruit cocktail. Taste is a smooth malt with a light mix of fruits. Finish is clean.

Dark in the glass with a beige head. The nose is smooth and sweet. The beer starts very fruity and smooth. Lots of peaches here, a bit sticky and sweet. The pecan nuts are very subtle in the dry malt tastable, smooth and easy to drink. The aftertaste is long, peaches, dry malt, nice sweetness.
A nice easy to drink beer which I think will fit perfect to a christmas-dinner. But for me it is a bit too sweet and sticky. --> 10/12/10/10

12 oz bottle into a pint glass. A: Pours a dark chestnut color which is disappointingly devoid of haziness for the style. The head is a one finger off-white shade. It isnít particularly creamy, nor does it have great retention. It leaves behind a thin ring of lacing on the glass. S: Peach notes are at the forefront. Iím having trouble picking up any nuanced malt qualities, though, and thatís unfortunate. Maybe a touch of caramel and some wheat. At first, I thought I picked up a cheesy scent, but thatís gone away almost entirely in the glass. The fruitiness IS pretty nice anyways. T: Okay, I lied - the malt here is like a punch in the face. It hits the palate immediately with caramel-laden sweetness, clashing with the (nice) peach notes instead of coexisting peacefully. At least the peachy finish is pleasant - too bad I donít pick up much pecan flavor. Thereís too much in the way of clashing flavors for me to enjoy this. M: Light, but too sweet on the palate to really inspire drinkability. Carbonation does its damnedest to help it go down, though. O: Itís a shame about its lack of balance, because I enjoy the fruity flavors of this. Wasnít a fan of this one, frankly. On the plus side, I can see this appealing to other drinkers.

Clear Dark Mahogany Reddish Brown, Huge Head Did Not Last Too Long, Light Spotty Lacing. Faint Sweet Peach Aroma. Sweet Peach, Wheat, Bitter Finish. Bitter Is Slightly Weird and a bit Unpleasant. Drinkable. Just OK. Pass It...

Pours a clear dark ruby amber with a well formed head that laces well. Said lacing lasts only a few minutes, however. Nose is of peach over a slight caramel. Light bodied with a thin mouthfeel. Slightly above normal carbonation level. The flavor profile is not complex. Like the nose, it is peach predominating over a light caramel. The beginning is a nice peach which effervesces into an ending that has pecan, but you have to really search for it. The finish is a lingering taste of peach that is OK, at best.

12 ounce bottle Appearance/ 2 full fingers of tannish foam that dissipates to a thin froth. Dark amber but clear. Nice carbonation. Smell / Big peaches out in front. Pears. Really fruity. Taste/ The first and biggest thing you get is peaches but they tell you on the bottle they use Texas peaches in the recipe. There is some hop bitterness at the end but to me the fruitiness kind of overpowers anything else that may be there. Mouth Feel / Medium bodied and creamy smooth. Overall / I gave it a 11 on this as I am not a big fan of fruit flavored beer not because it is a bad brew. I am sure that the brewer achieved what he was going after. Overall I think it fits into itís style but I would rather have a beer that has more beer flavors than fruits. That is just my preference.

P: Dazzling ruby body with slight bubbles and a big top of micro bubble khaki head. Thin and short lived head leaving wet slippery lacing. S: Sweet fruity tea, peach, juniper berries, cranberries, raspberries, tangerines, prunes dusted with powder sugar and honeydew melon. Subtle notes of cinnamon and other spices I canít quite make out. Smells like a natural fruit roll up. T/M: Fruity like the nose but tastes oxidized and dulled down by unpleasant bitterness and a chalky after math. Light and prickly carbonation. Not really feeling this one. Taste is like diluted fruit flavored seltzer water. O: What a let down. The nose was good but lacked in taste completely. All that comes to mind is a cheap replica of a great beer style. I wonít be cheering next year.
