A: Hazelnut brown with a finger of off-white foam which falls quickly to a torn sheet of the same. Excellent clarity. No lace.
S: Smells of plastic and some astringent malts. Not like.
T: Tastes sweet and like it has pecans. Some brown sugar tones. Taste far exceeds nose here.
M: Creamy. Thin. Absentee finish.
O: Well, itís okay. I would suggest to a novice to craft.

The peach definitely comes out in this. Overpowering. Too Sweet for me. Reminds me of their Prickly Pear.

Iíve tried several holiday beers and this is by far my favorite this year. The flavors arenít so overly spiced that the taste of the beer gets lost.

355ml bottle into a weizen glass; served cold.
Aroma: Lots of sweet/sour peaches. A little malt. The peach aroma is pretty heavy though. It smells like a freshly opened can of peaches.
Appearance: Clear, dark, ruby/tawny body with a very thin and very quickly dissipating head.
Taste: Peaches. Lots and lots of peaches. Not much else; some mild roasted barely. Peaches rule the flavor.
Palate: Light-medium body, mild carbonation. Short-moderate fruity finish.
Overall: Iím not sure if Shiner changed something between last year and this year, but thereís no pecan flavor in this brew at all. I remember last yearís being distinctly less fruity. Itís nice, but last yearís was a good dunkel and this yearís is a true fruit beer.

This beer isnít very good. The whole fruity thing comes across as weak and watered down. I love Christmas!

12oz bottle pours a dark copper color with a medium khaki head that leaves decent lacing. Smells of peaches and pecans. Tastes of the same things in the smell bit I also get a slight bitterness and caramel as well. Mouthfeel is medium and creamy with decent carbonation. This is probably my favorite beer from shiner. Always look forward to drinking this every winter.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle: pours a dark brownish red with a foamy, creamy light tan head. Aroma is sweet peaches and some slight floral notes. Taste is nice...crisp peach flavor...some nuttiness if you look for it. Overall a little boring, but as a holiday beer, I really enjoyed this. Different than most of the spicy winter beers that I am typically bombarded by this time of year. Tasty treat for a cold day.

Pours a dark red/amber with a moderate head that faded to a light little lacing. Aroma was of sweet fruity peach. Taste starts off kind of malty with peach in the mix. It finishes with mild hops and slightly peacon nutty aftertaste. Palate was decent. Overall, a unique and interesting fruit brew.
