COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
’Tis the Season for Cheer

Happy Holidays from the "Little Brewery" in Shiner, TX. We hope you enjoy your Shiner Cheer, an Old World Dunkelweizen brewed with Texas peaches and roasted pecans. The malty flavors of this dark wheat ale are enhanced through the use of malted barley and wheat. And Kräusening ensures a smoothnessthat makes the subtle peach and pecan flavors all the more satisfying. May your days be merry and bright and your Shiner be cold.

Tasty as one would expect from Shiner. Even better on Tap. Light spice. Seasonal release. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle from Xroads. Poured a syrupy looking maroonish amber with a creamy beige head. Aroma is sugary and fruity, dough, rust, and copper. Mouthfeel is meh with softer carbonation and an almost watery palate. Flavor of peaches, dry grains, nut shells. Meh I should probably drain pour this but I’ll finish it.

Dunkelweizen? Hmmmm....mostly sweet tree fruit, pecans barely noticeable. Decent head, light weight body and mouthfeel. Nothing memorable here, trying to place peaches in the realm of winter seasonal flavors, doesn’t work...

Pours clear amber brown with a medium head, rapidly diminishing, very fine lacing. Strong peach aroma with lighter notes of pecan, caramel, biscuit. Light body, smooth and creamy. Medium sweet, a touch of citrus, and a gentle bitter finish. Like drinking dried apricots with malt. If it were much thicker it would be too sweet, but it’s kind of enjoyable.

This beer had a very fruity aroma. Dark amber pour, white head. Flavor is fruity, cherry, strawberry, red fruits. Finish is a but off, dry, bitter. Overall, interesting but one was enough.

Draft at Milkboy. Clear dark orange pour with some off-white foam. Medium dark malts underneath but bright and peachy up top. Strong pink peaches. Orange marmalade leather. Enough hop bite to balance off the sweetness. Some drying tannins. Unusual.

Pours a clear pale yellow/ivory color with a decent white head. Nose is huge hit of peach and pecans, maybe some vanilla, hard to look past the peach. Body is light and creamy with medium carbonation initially very sweet with some sweetness being reduced into the finish. Intense peach aromas and flavors with a definite nutty sidekick. Does not have the artificial flavoring feel to it even with the intensity of the fruit, unique beer but I wouldn’t ever have more than one.

Not a bad spiced dunkel. Little spice, Little Belgian, bit o’ heavy gut feeling. Aroma is a little weak but color is nice and brown rosy. Easy to drink for winter

The taste of peaches is very dominant in this brew. Medium carbonation with peacan undertones.

Appearance: Pours a dark red with a fading sudsy head. Decent clarity.

Aroma: Brown sugar, apple skin, potpourri/scented holiday candle.

Taste: Light toast, brown sugar, sweet cherry. Definitely fruit cake.

Mouthfeel: Full bodied. Sticky.

Overall: This was a cool little unique holiday beer.
