3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
It looks like the style of this beer has been changed to "blond ale", which is fairly accurate. This is basically a light ale with a little spice and a smidgen of sweetness hiding somewhere in there. Unfortunately there is a slight macro-swill taste to the end of the glass.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Drank from bottle. Light malt flavor,a but like stale beer the morning after but not as objectionable. Light in the mouth with moderate carbonation, grassy and glassy grains, finishes with just a bit of hops. Not a wonderful kolsch but a good light summer drinker.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
I am not 100% sure I would call this a koelsch but at least it is not just some crappy blond ale. It kind of strikes me as something along the lines of an American cream ale but not as corny tasting. It’s clear orange w/ a very small foamy head. It has a mild nose that lightly grainy w/ a bit of grassy hops. It’s dry and crisp w/ a touch of malt character, crisp carbonation and a lingering bit of bitterness in the finish. I can get behind this stuff. It is not blowing my mind or anything but does well on a nice summer day.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a crystal clear deep straw color with a decent sized white head that quickly recedes. Aromas of bready pilsner with hints of sugary and fruity sweetness and a very faint floral hop scent. The flavor is mildly sweet with a honey sugary fruitiness that mixes fairly well with the doughy bready malts. Crisp spicy hop bitterness and a touch of carbonic bite balance this fairly well. Light to medium body with a moderate to high level of carbonation. Nice summer brew.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
From a bottle. Pours very clear pale gold with a very thin head. Tastes like musky malt, light corn, very light flavor overall. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like light musky malty grains.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Faint noble hop aroma to style. Pours clear golden with white head that disappears too quickly. Pilsner and Munich malt tastes. Dry finish. Not bad. Needs more carbonation and better head retention but it is a good kölsch.

12 oz bottle from the six type summer sampler case. My info reads as follows: Brewer’s Pride Craft Brew No. 5 barcode 08857392 Hope I have this on the correct entry. I added the barcode to the list.
Refreshing and clean, much like a Kolsch should be. Surprised this wasn’t so bad. Good antidote for the summer heat.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Not bad, as Kolsches go. Crystal clear with a pure white head. Crisp and light with some grassy grain notes.
