2.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle; looked fairly yellow when poured, but took on amber color while in the glass. Head was small and short lasting. Aroma of grass, corn and earth; flavor was a big let down. Hops are hidden behind a whole lot of bland.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
For being boasted as a hoppy beer I was very unimpresed. I enjoy a nicely hopped beer and this just didnt cut it.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz. bottle from a mixed 12-pack. Pours a clear gold color with some visible rising carbonation and a small white head. Aroma of bready malts, peppery spice, crackers, and maybe a bit of grass and grains. Flavor of sweet, bready malts, toast, crackers, pepper and faint herbs. Light-bodied, with medium-high carbonation and a crisp, malty mouthfeel. Dry finish. I enjoyed this the most of the 4 new Shiner beers I tried in this pack; better than the Hefe, Alt, or Blonde.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Shiner assorted 6 pack. Pours a honey color. Small white head. Mild lager aroma. A bit of roasty/toastiness that sets it apart from an everyday lager. Easy drinking with a nice clean finish. Could drink a couple of these. Nothing special here, but a decent beer. Really like the idea of this assorted 6 pack. Wasn’t looking for it, but when the opportunity to try 5 new beers in a single 6 pack comes up you gotta buy that 6 pack.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle. Poured a clear copper/bronze color with a white head. Aroma was bready and sweet malts,. flavor was a bit grainy, with notes of lemon, citrus. Pretty much a forgettable beer, but very enjoyable. Lagered, typical, quite drinkable if it was around, but may as well get their standards.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Slightly lemony, slightly funky, cheap lager aroma. OK label, twistoff cap on a standard US longneck. Clear gold beer, an almost-white, lumpy head. Lemon-tangy, lightly sweet, not very bitter. Nothing much going on here - not bad, a lawnmower beer. Medium to medium light body, fairly crisp lemon finish.
