COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
“Kosmos Spoetzl knew how to brew great beer. Born in Bavaria, Kosmos’ mastery of German brewing carried him as far as Egypt before he found his way to the small Texas town of Shiner. Our proud brewery still carries his name and commitment to excellence in brewing. This full-flavored, hop-jacked lager is every bit as unique as the man himself and our way of saluting the brewmaster who started it all.”

This is a real heavy ale. Too malty for my liking. Really strong aftertaste of malt. Pours a dark brown in color. Smells really malty ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not soapy hoppy just lemon and a bit bitter and dry. Beautiful color HEY guess what? It also smells like lemon. Still a good balance and drinkable.

This beer randomly appeared in my fridge. Hey, free tick. Pours pale amber with light white head. Scent is sweaty and sweet. Starts grainy sweet and finishes barely bitter. Light-medium and heavily carbonated. Bottle - Source Unknown

Pours yellow amber and clear with come carbonation and a white head. Aroma is a bit skunk, grass, hop and dried fruit (apple?). Taste is warming but crisp without too much to it beyond a mildly fruity finish. A bit bready and decently carbonated. Does improve with some warming and as I drain the glass. One of the better Shiner beers I've had but nothing to write home about. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Well this is sad to say this is about the best so far out of the shiner reunion pack and it is still not that great. Not sure why they like it so much in texas. Has almost no aroma barely a hint of hops im no hop head but come on i didnt know we were going back to middle ages prehop beers. Whatever ok i guess on the fact i can finish it.

(bottle) clear orange amber with a small white head; aroma is a bit sour, with some cooked fruit; flavour is muted, initially balanced, with a short sour finish
