2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 suprchunk (802) - Heinsberg, GERMANY - FEB 9, 2012
Slightly dark straw colored pour. Small white head. Fades superfast, leaves no lacing. Slight malt aroma and toffee. Carbonic bite, sweet malty - albeit watered down - flavor. Middle of the road offering. Would be nice for a barbecue.

Surprisingly good for a light beer. If I was actually a light beer drinker I’d be all over this.

Pours a white head with a dark golden body. Smells of malt and a hint of hops. Malty flavor and mouthfeel with ever so slight pine hop. Decent for a light

Pours amber, not the straw yellow one might expect. Closer to their Bock. All I get is watery corn and some sweetness with carbonation. Yuck. Pretty plain and flaccid.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2011 Very reminiscent of Point Lager, not horrible, a little hops, a little malts, a good thirst quencher.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 SHIG (2530) - Osan, SOUTH KOREA - JAN 30, 2011
Bottle: Poured a clear golden color with thin white head. Aroma is sweet grass and malt. Taste is a nice carbonated malt sweet on the tongue and long lasting.

Part 4 of Shiner variety pack. Pours light amber--much darker than you’d expect from a light lager. Similar aroma to Shiner Bock and Kosmos, just weaker presence, tougher to find. Head is big bubbles, peaks at 1" or so, then descends into the usual light lager flat-top. This is actually a fine beer, especially for a light. Touch of caramel is about the only discernible flavor other than corn. A good alternative to BMC lights, but again, nothing special, and I probably won’t buy it again. The thinness/watery side comes through in the finish, where everything just goes away.

A clear golden pour with white head. The aroma is mostly faint grains. The light body has a thin texture and average carbonation. The taste is mildly sweet with a quick, clean finish. Too watery for me.
