1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20 ansermadide (850) - Kyle, Texas, USA - FEB 16, 2010
Honestly, I’ve been dreading drinking and rating this, so it’s been in my pantry for a few months. In all remaining honesty, however, it’s darker than I expected. It’s translucent yellow color with amber hues makes it look less like a light beer and more, well, more like a weak amber lager. What’s worse, right? it has a light lager aroma, and it’s flavor... Ultra-metallic! Wow, this is bad. Why would someone intentionally drink this (other than to rate it)? I have no clue... Overall, it’s generally unpleasant with a momentary sweetness in the finish. There ya go...
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 troyc (2014) - Oklahoma, USA - FEB 15, 2010
[Bottle] Pours a yellow color with a foamy white head. Aroma of grain and sweet grasses. Taste is of light sweet malts and corn syrup. Very little hopping. Some vegetable notes in the finish. Light in body and relatively high in carbonation. Not a whole lot of positive qualities in this brew.

Bottle. Clear barely yellow pour with fizzy head. Aroma is rice, adjunct, foulness. Flavor is disgust, rice, corn, and Satan’s sweat. All I have to ask, is Why?
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20 Ibrew2or3 (4699) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - DEC 30, 2009
Pours deep clear gold with brief bright white head. The mild aroma is sugary with a bit of fruity esters. The timid watery flavor feebly brings up grains and a hint of spicy hops. It then moves into sugar sweetness, floral hops and a touch of graininess. This brew is insanely thin forgettable body and beer.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 ROGUE (1315) - Newark, Delaware, USA - DEC 23, 2009
12oz bottle. Pours a very clear pale golden amber color with a short white head that quickly dissipates. The aroma is grainy with a floral hint. Taste is weak but not unpleasant. Malty and clean, not a lot of hops flavors, not much depth. For a light lager, this is more flavorful than most, but still light.
2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 taphandle (985) - Texas, USA - DEC 16, 2009
Pours a light amber color with very little head. Not much aroma to speak of, and the taste is just a touch of malt and bitterness. I enjoy Shiner Bock, but would never seek this one out.

Not much to go on here, just a lighter version of the classic Shiner bock.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 scooterbub (532) - Lander, Wyoming, USA - NOV 30, 2009
Bottle from family pack. Pours a nice gold color with a decent, foamy white head that slowly fades. Rather clean aroma and taste. Some malt, corn, grain and some hopes come through. Has a slight sweetness to it. Some bitterness in the end. A good thirst quencher and would be nice to have on a hot day. Not bad. Is pretty good as it warms up too.
