COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Shiner Light is a full-flavored, deep amber light beer. Our brewmaster blends choice Munich malt and select hops with pure artesian water to create a beer thats lower in calories but full of the rich flavor you expect from shiner beers.

Notes: A great beer to have with sushi. Goes down very smooth. Pleasent aroma. A: Yellow & Gold with a light firm head. S: Smells of cereal and other grain. T: A hint of malt, cereal, and grian. For a light beer has a full bodied flavor of a pale lager. D: Excellent drinkability. Very smooth. Very low bitterness with fine balance.

Most shiner products are good, and this one is no exception. A light beer that has substance to it, a good taste and a good finish.

Poured out of bottle, nice head which lingers. Color is light carmel. Has a little bit of a bite to it, on the malty side. Something I would drink again, although it is not all that light in calories. 110 according to the bottle (about the same as a Guiness pint or a Coors light 12oz (go figure!)).

This is my fav light beer. It actually tastes like beer is in the bottle. I havent tried it in the can... Wondering if they even sell it in the can? If you like shiner bock and or if you like light beer that tastes like beer, I think you might enjoy this.....

Very light amber (surprising color for a "light") with a sustained white head. It has the airy aroma of the macro that it is (despite the words "handcrafted" on the label). It's smooth and well malted with good character and body. I liked it.

Pours pale copper with a fast fleeting head and no lacing. A little grainy on the nose. Medium nectar with ample effers. A malty backbone sustains the brew featuring a mild hop twitch to bitter. Big on flavor. More like a light Marzen. It’s actually not bad. I think i like this stuff. For a light beer I am impressed.

For a light beer, very good, has much of the ’shiner’ taste. Doesn’t taste like water or lose its flavor just because its a light beer, perfect for a summer day or yard work! Suprisingly amber with small white/ivory head, aroma is very rich

Does a great job in keeping flavor in a light beer. Miles ahead of amstel, bud, coors etc in the light category. Full malty flavor. Avoids tasting wattered down. My favorite Light beer.
