2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 redgold07 (308) - Irving, Texas, USA - SEP 9, 2008The best light beer I think I’ve ever had. Different than your average light. A little corn flavor with a nice balance of hops and malt... nothing overpowering or standing out here.
12 oz. bottle.
1.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 patxa (63) - MEXICO - JUN 4, 2013
Not horrible really. Just another mediocre light pale lager. Corn aroma , pale looks, no palate. Not much to say really. Cool tags.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Lemke10 (544) - Janesville, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 24, 2013
Probably one of the better "Light" beers I’ve had. Pours a pale amber color with a decent head as the slight scent of malts tickle your nose. Upon drinking there is complex malt taste which leaves the beer weaker in taste but still has a rather in depth texture to it that finishes rather smooth. Something better to try than the ol’ Miller Lite and Bud Light.
1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 knickskicks (503) - - JUL 8, 2012
Golden. Sweet corn, grain, water. Very thin and watery. Not good at all, even for its style.
1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 jimmie65 (312) - Texas, USA - JUN 13, 2012
Light amber with a decent head. Aroma too faint. Flavor even fainter. Finishes like water.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 jmagnus87 (1449) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - MAY 31, 2012
From notes. 12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Got this guy out of a Shiner mix pack. Little better than most light beers I’ve had. I would drink this again.
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 4/20 BustyMcJugson (36) - - FEB 21, 2012
Drink a regular shiner and just skip the greasy bar food if calories are your concern. I would just as well drink a Natty Light. Don’t do this to yourself, you deserve better.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 suprchunk (1447) - Heinsberg, GERMANY - FEB 9, 2012
Slightly dark straw colored pour. Small white head. Fades superfast, leaves no lacing. Slight malt aroma and toffee. Carbonic bite, sweet malty - albeit watered down - flavor. Middle of the road offering. Would be nice for a barbecue.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 dfinney23 (1046) - Houston, Texas, USA - JAN 17, 2012
Surprisingly good for a light beer. If I was actually a light beer drinker I’d be all over this.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 unclemike (1925) - Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA - DEC 18, 2011
Pours a white head with a dark golden body. Smells of malt and a hint of hops. Malty flavor and mouthfeel with ever so slight pine hop. Decent for a light
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 carboloader (617) - Houston, Texas, USA - APR 11, 2011
Pours amber, not the straw yellow one might expect. Closer to their Bock. All I get is watery corn and some sweetness with carbonation. Yuck. Pretty plain and flaccid.
