Poured from a bottle into a tulip glass; though traditionally Oktoberfest beers are off the tap into a Maßkrug. Amber in color with light head. There seem to be a lot of bubbles. Light aroma. Nothing really distinctive coming through, though I do not expect too much from this style... I still expected something. Taste: Light malt, almost no bitterness or hops favor. Slightly sweet ending. A little too carbonated. Crisp and light. The carbonation drops its drinkability a little. Other than that it is a nice drink, but nothing to search out for.

Golden copper orange, transparent, few bubbles, no head. Unimpressive skunky aroma containing malt and perhaps some caramel. Wow. The taste is far superior. Smooth, medium mouthfeel, creamy. Initial slight biterness, followed by a smooth combination of malt, caramel, nutmeg spices, and finishes with a refreshing amount of hop. Fantastic, easy drinking marzen.

Bottle. A: Caramel color with red highlights. Very thin head - hard to tell the color. N: Biscuit, red licorice, grist and hay. Some hops. A bit of sulfur. I swear - it’s like a fast food bun. T: Sweet and....sweet. more of the weird burn. M: Light body, prickly carb. O: Yeah. 3 misses in a row. I am disappoint. Breakside and Ayinger are so far superior.

Rated from notes taken 2 Sep 2011 -- Drank at an Oktoberfest sample event. This is just slightly better than middle of the road, compared to the other brews.

Amber in color, lightly carbonated, low hops, Carmel flavors and some roasted barley notes, overall it is ok

Can. Typical malty aroma and flavor for Marzen. Not bad, but not complex or exceptional.

Medium amber color light head. Aromas medium malty(carmel, toffee) and light grassy undertones. Flavors the same as aromas. Light to medium sweet.

12 oz bottle. (Bavarian Bottle Shop) Helen, GA.
Clear deep golden colour with a tiny white head. Bready malt, bouillon and some mild saltiness in the aroma. Weird. The flavour is dry hops, sweetish malt, cookies and dryness. Malty. Dry.

Had at an open bar at a conference in Texas. I really only drank it for the bottle cap for my collection. It was sweet and sort of watery, but it wasn’t offensive. Not terrible.

Copper color. Sweet, very sweet caramel aroma. Taste is pretty much a sweet caramel malt bomb. Pretty basic and simultaneously sweet and took watery. Eh.

Nice color, great taste... Wish I had more than one in the beer fridge! It's on the get-again list. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
